Clean and Simple Stamping, Creative Corner and Operation Write Home
This is another card for my next Operation Write Home - the emphasis for this box is masculine cards for sending home for Father's Day. I tend to not make cards that are specific "mother's day" or "father's day" - I know that this could be used for Father's Day or for any other occasion. This card is a combination of 3 stamps. The golf balls came from three different stamps. They were all cut out and pop dotted on the card. The background is my argyle cuddlebug folder - and then a touch of argyle patterned paper. I was so pleased with the card - I made a second one and sent it to a friend so she could send to her father - I know he likes golf.
The card is being entered into three different challenges:
Sketch at Clean and Simple Stamping
Creative Corner - Boys and Their Toys
Operation Write Home Stars and Stamps Blog - Midweek Challenge - Dad
Have a wonderful day.

What a creative take on the sketch - love it!
Cheers, Karen
Great card - the argyle embossing looks terrific with the golf theme. Love that hint of green behind the sentiment and those golf balls! Thanks for playing in our Midweek Throwdown Challenge at Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps!
This is a wonderful Masculine card!! You did a fantastic job and I also LOVE the CAS style. They are always my toughest challenge and you would think with Hubby and two sons, they would be Easy!! :)
Yes, I bought my Cameo, (Silhouette), when they came out, in November. I always struggled with my Cricut/Expression and had wanted to try this for a long time. I knew the Jennifer and Kristina both talked about them in the first classes I took last Summer, so that was what had me interested. I also know a few people who had switched from a Cricut to a Silhouette, after they made it impossible to use SCAL and and such and that was another reason I wanted to change too. Just about the time I was about to order, I found out the Cameo was coming out in Late November, so I put the money away and that way, when it was out, I had the money! :)
I Love it and love that I can use SCAL again and design my own cards and shapes too! I find it much easier to use and I love buying only one image at a time versus a full cartridge.
I'm taking this class, specifically to learn how to use it even more, but I'm already loving the die cut section and learn something new every day :)
PS: Thanks for visiting...it's always nice to see you!
Oh! I love this! And the sentiment is awesome! I love golf so that is probably a contributing factor. :) I especially love how you did the golf balls! Great card!
This is one great man card ... I love the texture and I love the 3D elements, perfect colour pallette too!
