Today is sketch day on Stars and Stamps. I took great creative license with the sketch because I had a set of Valentine themed stickers from SRM and you know it will soon be time to be making those Valentine cards for OWH (stay tuned all week for my Valentine cards). The heart represents the shaped die cut at the top of the sketch (see creative license). I used my Silhouette to cut the heart. The paper is from Echo Park - one of my vast collection of 6 x 6 pads.

Thank you for taking artistic license. I immediately recognized that the heart counted for the top-note shape on the sketch. That made me feel better, because I don't have the top note. I feel free now to use a Nestabilities or something for that "shape" piece. Thanks!
I love the creative license you took with this sketch. I do have Spellbinders similar to the shape on the sketch, but I remember being discouraged with a similar sketch before I bought those dies. Your card will inspire people to stretch their creativity so they can play along!
It's hard to believe that it's really time to start on Valentines. Yay! They're my favorite!
Thanks for not following the sketch exactly as it is. I enjoy seeing the different ways everyone interprets things. And true, very soon we will be making mass quantities of Valentines. I'm still making my own Halloween cards!
