Winner Winner Chicken Dinner - I won something else - I have won 3 things today - and I never win so I went and bought 2 lottery tickets tonight - so if you don't hear from me for awhile - I will be celebrating and way too busy to make cards.
I did some coloring this week end - I am working on some Halloween cards for Operation Write Home - I thought I could use the sketch from Card Positioning Systems to make a card. The midweek throwdown on the Operation Write Home card blog is to use your stash - well I just fell into that challenge. All this paper is pretty well aged along with the stamp and rub ons. I thought the card was dull so I dug out some rub ons and loved the look of their addition to the card. It still looked a little naked and I looked in my scap bag and there was that strip of polka dot paper - perfect size/perfect finishing touch. Guranteed to make a soldier smile and his lucky loved one will smile also. Want to make people smile - make some cards for Operation Write Home.
Everyone enjoy your evening - I need to do a little picking up around the house. Come back tomorrow for Christmas.
Card details:
Size: 4.25 x 5.5
Patterned paper: Stemma Polka Dot: October Afternoon
Stamp: Studio G colored with Copics
Scallop die cut from Papertrey Ink
Rub Ons - from my supply (maybe Basic Grey)
