It is Monday - time to show some love for your old supplies. I am into using pieces of paper that can stand alone for a card front. It is easy to make a group of cards then. I am trying to make some card sets for Christmas gifts and also some groups of cards for charity functions to help the charity raise money.
I creatively painted a more flowers on each card front if I thought they needed another flower or two with color. The sentiments were then pop dotted in areas with no colored flowers.
Some simple cards, easy to go through the mail, to just say hello and happy thoughts. Remember to show some love for your old supplies.

Oldie Moldie Monday
I am still on vacation but I did have an oldie moldie Monday card to share with you.
Isn't this the perfect sentiment to use for paper with cameras on. I know exactly who will receive the card. I did make two and the other one is going into a fundraising auction.
Remember to show some love to your well aged supplies.

Oldie Moldie Monday
It is Monday, time to show some love for your old supplies. This week I am using some older Studio Calico paper and a stamp I have had for quite awhile.
I stamped six images and was able to use two. Today was not my day for lots of things working correctly.
I am entering the cards in three different challenges. The Paper Players have a sketch challenge. The second card is their sketch.
The second challenge is a Weekly Christmas Card Challenge where this week the challenge is Anything Goes. I like this challenge.
The monthly Christmas challenge at Happy Little Stampers where the challenge is to use Twine.

Christmas Cards and Oldie Moldie Monday
It is Monday again - time to show some love to your old supplies.
The current challenge on Jingle Belles is Frosty the Snowman. I was looking for a stamp and on the shelf was the snowman that I used on my card. The snowman has such a cute personality and today it is a girl snowman because she is all dressed up in her pink scarf and hat and is wearing some bling on her finger tips.
The paper is random pieces from different collections that I gathered together to use. I did see a date of 2008 on one of the pieces. The stamp is from Stampendous and is colored with Copics. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches. The felt snowflakes are from my supplies. I added some extra bling and Stickles to finish off the card.
I did add some blue chalking around the image so that the white paper which the image was stamped on was not so WHITE. Sometimes this distracts me from the card so have tried to find a way to add just a small amount of soft color. What do you do for this.
I did make four cards so I am a happy Christmas card camper.

Oldie Moldie Monday
Monday - time to show some love for your old supplies. As I was looking for something - who knows what now I found three pieces of Bo Bunny paper from the same collection. One of the papers was a beautiful floral. One of the other sheets was a beautiful paper for matting and one paper was great for stamping sentiments on. I made six cards from this group of paper and they are all ready to go - the ones not on a white or cream card base are lined with coordinating paper also.
I made four of this particular design. The location of the sentiment varies according to the placement of the flowers.
I made two of this design.
And then from the leftover pieces of all the three sheets of paper, I made this card.
I think I did OK. So remember to show some love for your well aged supplies, they are still beautiful. I now only have 999,996 sheets left to use.

Oldie Moldie Monday
I made a couple more masculine (boy) cards for the Collins House kids. I found the robots already colored and the paper was laying out so it was a perfect combination for my cards.
I know they will bring a smile to a couple little boys faces. It also makes me smile because I used up a very small amount of paper and images but I did use them.

Oldie Moldie Monday
I was in need of more thank you notes to thank special people who impacted my Mom's life in her last years.
This card goes to her doctor. (My mom went by the name Bea.)
This card went to the administrator at the nursing home. He was a great help to my sister.
The thank you is a digi image I had left over from Operation Write Home card making days. All the paper is from Authentique.

Happy Birthday
It is Monday - time to show some love for your old supplies.
The paper is a spring bundle from Die Cuts With A View from 2014. I need to keep that pad out to make some Easter cards. The stamp is an old favorite from Stampendous colored with Copics. The sentiment stamp is new.
Remember to dig out your old supplies and show them some love.

Oldie Moldie Monday
Oldie Moldie Monday - time to show some love for your old supplies.
Today I am sharing a card I am sending to a little boy in my hometown who is battling cancer. I hope it brings a smile to his face.
The dog reminds me of my daughter's dog - Rocky (aka Rock Star). She loved to chase her balls.
Remember to show some love for your old supplies. They still make great projects - all they need is your creative hand to make a beautiful project.

Oldie Moldie Monday - time to show some love for your old supplies. Well I dug out my monkey stamps and a 6 x 6 pad from My Mind's Eye. There is no date on the paper so I can't tell you how well I have aged the paper.
Remember to show some love for your well aged supplies. They still make wonderful cards.

Christmas - Oldie Moldie Monday
It is Monday - time to show some love for your old supplies. Lucky me - the Christmas Card Challenge Blog Jingle Bells is continuing their challenge of something old and something new.
This week I bought a new thinlit die - it is a sentiment - I thought it would make some great Christmas cards and they would be fairly easy. (and I was correct - since I had the supplies out I made two)
The paper is old - it is a paper pad from Paper Studio. Nice pretty paper in the traditional Christmas colors of red and green.
I was trying to make the cards flat to help with mailing costs but then I thought I needed something in the corners - a little more red - so now the card is less mail friendly. Oh well - I think I am single handed keeping the post office in business. Last week's trip to the post office was $13.00 and that cost does not include the envelopes that did not need extra postage on them.
Remember to show some love for your older supplies. I now have 3 Christmas cards made for next year. The insides are done on all of them and the envelopes are decorated.

Oldie Moldie Monday
Whew - can you hear the tires burning as I slide in under the self imposed deadline to post my Oldie Moldie Monday card. I was gone all week end at my daughters to help out over the week end. Got home this afternoon and trying to get some things done. Unfortunately I did not get as much done as I wanted to but I did at least get my Oldie Moldie Monday card done.
This is a birthday card for my son in law. He will probably faint when he gets it. I am not too good at December birthdays.
Hopefully the crazy bird brings a smile to his face.
Have a wonderful remainder of Monday.

Oldie Moldie Monday
It is Oldie Moldie Monday - time to show some love for your old supplies. I am making Christmas cards with my old supplies. It is that time of the year.
This week my card also falls into the challenge at Weekly Christmas Card Challenge - the challenge is Anything Goes.
Lots to do today. I usually take a day and make appointments all on the same day so I only use up one day for those. They are all spaced out so I won't be stressed about not making one.
Have a wonderful day and remember to show some love for your old supplies.
This week my card also falls into the challenge at Weekly Christmas Card Challenge - the challenge is Anything Goes.
I am also entering it into the weekly Wednesday challenge at Simon Says Stamp where the challenge is Christmas.
I am also entering it into the current challenge at Addicted to Stamps where the challenge is Anything Goes.
The paper is well aged and I have had this stamp for ages. It does have a matching sentiment but I could not locate it. This card is for my two step grandsons. Well actually I made two cards - one for each of the young men.
The paper is from Little Yellow Bicycle and the paper has a shiny finish. The stamp is from Cracker Box Stamps which is a local stamp company in Janesville, WI. They do go to some of the stamp shows. The sentiment stamp is from Paper Smooches.
Have a wonderful day and remember to show some love for your old supplies.

Oldie Moldie Monday
Monday -time to show some love for your old supplies. The paper I have used for my cards is from a 6 x 6 pad from Little Yellow Bicycle. The tag die is from Paper Smooches. The sentiment is from Hero Arts and the tree (I must confess is new) is from Impression Obsession.
I love the color combination - it is a little more subdued than what I usually do. There is a pop of color in the mat on the sentiment.
I am entering this card in the challenge CAS on Sunday where the challenge is to use a tag.
Remember to show some love for your old supplies.

Oldie Moldie Monday
I was away yesterday and took a great class taught by Frank Garcia from Prima. I made some beautiful tags. I will post pictures of them on days when I don't have anything else to post. We made 7 tags. I do have some fine tuning of the tags and finishing yet to do. When I got home I put the finishing touches on my Oldie Moldie Monday card.
I found this black reindeer (felt) as I was cleaning so decided to make it into a card. This is what finally evolved. I was planning on a big bow on the card but had adhered everything to the card base before I remembered. Oops.
It is very interesting taking photos outside this time of the year. You get some interesting shadows. Yeah - another Christmas card is made.
Now back to my Penny Black stickers. I still have a couple of them to make into cards.

Oldie Moldie Monday
Here are two cards that I made from a kit. I will take paper and cut it into 4 x 5.5 inch pieces. I will cut up several sheets of coordinating paper. I stamp an image (always stamp 2) and make kits. I then send these kits to five people who want to receive them. Everyone has a couple weeks to get their cards made. It is always fun to see how six people interpret the same supplies. The only rule to using this kit is that you must use the image and at least three of the papers.
Here are my two cards.
Yes this paper was oldie moldie and I got rid of six sheets of it doing this fun exchange. I do it about every month with a private group I belong to on Facebook. Can't wait to see what they design.

Oldie Moldie Monday
It is Monday, time to show some love for your old supplies. This image has been floating around my design table for awhile so I decided to make it into a card when I saw the current challenge on Jingle Bells which is a sketch.
The recycled white cardstock has been embossed for a base layer. I must confess I did use my new Lawn Fawn die cuts for the curved area and a new sentiment stamp.
The stripe is not even Christmas paper but it did have the colors in it that coordinated with the scarf on my snowman. At least this little image won't be haunting me on the design table. I am being smart as I work on my holiday cards to complete the insides also while all the paper is available.
Remember to show some love for that older paper. It can make fun cards.

Monday - time to show some love for your old supplies. I am working on some Halloween cards. All the paper is from the Halloween/Fall folder. The little mummy is a new stamp from Michael's for $1. Sometimes you find the cutest stamps in that bin. He is stamped in black and embossed with clear embossing powder. The Trick or Treat stickers are from SRM Stickers.

Oldie Moldie Monday - Halloween
Decided I needed to make some quick Halloween cards. I have several elderly special women in my life so I thought I would make some quick cards so I had something to send them. I still have a couple more to make. Hopefully that will be next Monday's post.
I keep a folder of all my Halloween and fall papers in so it is pretty easy to make something. Both of these images were in the folder. I believe I had printed them from somewhere but they sure helped make the cards come together very quickly. I am always happy when I can find a use for my recycled purple card stock.
I did add some Wink of Stella to the teeth of the cat and the moon. On the pumpkin I added it to the spider web, the eyes, nose and teeth.

Oldie Moldie Monday
It was great to see that the challenge on Jingle Bells along with Shop Your Stash is to make a Christmas card from your supplies that are at least a year old. It makes Oldie Moldie Monday so much more fun to do when I can do a challenge also.
The paper I chose to use is not a Christmas or Winter paper. It is patterned paper from Bazzill. I have had it for years and then a few more on top of it. I love the challenge of using non holiday paper. The stamp image and sentiment have been in my supplies for a few years. I love the Paper Smooches snowmen.
I now have two more holiday cards done. Yeah. Thanks for the challenge and yes our old supplies do make beautiful projects. It just takes our creativity to bring it out. Show some love for those old supplies.
