Good Sunday evening - where did the week end go - I still have a whole day of work to do and I should be in bed by 10 - gotta hit the deck running at work - lots of work to accomplish - plus I am going to serve my birthday treat - a berry trifle - of course - I can not find my recipe - so we are going to wing it. Summer has hit - we are in the 90's right now and I guess I need to turn on my air conditioner - I don't want to do that. But I may have to if I want to sleep tonight. I did get some creating done today. I would love to just spend a day creating but alas that is not to happen.
My card started out based on the Tuesday sketch at A Crafty Little Place and then I started assembling it - the strips going around the edge did not work on my card. I do love how the card turned out. It is for the Mom of my friend Shari who died this week from cancer. I wanted her to know she was in my thoughts - as a mother - I can't believe how hard it would be to have a child die before you did.
