Close up of image colored with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol

Close up of sticker sentiment

Good Tuesday evening - my work week is done - yeah - of course - I will probably pay for it on Monday when I return to work. I need to go make my dressing for the fruit salad I am taking for Thanksgiving dinner. Will watch the end of Dancing with the Stars tonight - it has been an interesting season - sad Brandy was voted off - I would have loved to seen their freestyle - I know it would have been very interesting.
My card tonight is based on the weekly sketch at Card Pattern. A very simple sketch but with so many possibilities. The image was stamped on the patterned paper and colored. Love the looks of stamping on patterned paper rather than a plain color. Gives it so much more depth. I have problems coloring "red" with copics - I don't get results that I like so I dug out the colored pencils and gamsol. This is going to a very special lady (mother of my friend who we lost to cancer this last year) - I know Mae loves cardinals. I can remember Shari buying her cardinal things and doing a cross stitch for her.
Everyone have an enjoyable evening - I must get some things done around the house.
