March Happy Little Stamper Watercolor Challenge

It is time for the new watercolor monthly challenge at Happy Little Stampers.

The challenge this month is "anything goes" with the option of florals.  I think just about everything I color with watercolor is a floral.

This month I decided to do something other than a card.  I have made bookmarks this month.  I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the shapes for the bookmarks.  The first layer was cut out of watercolor paper.  The back of the bookmarks is black card stock.

I used my Misti to stamp the bookmarks.  Some are stamped in black VersaFine ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  Some were just stamped with the same ink and not embossed.  The embossing just helps keep the ink inside the stamped lines.

I water colored these bookmarks while I was in Florida.

Here are close ups of the bookmarks.

Please join us at Happy Little Stampers for our March Watercolor Challenge

Thanks for stopping by.
