CAS Mix Up September Challenge

I have been home for awhile so I am able to play along with a few of my favorite challenges.

This month the challenge at CAS Mix Up is Inchies

For my card I used stamping, watercolor, die cutting and embossing paste.

I first cut a strip of one inch wide watercolor paper.  I smooshed it in some oxide ink to add a little color to the strip.  I would stamp the penguin on each end of the strip and then go cut off one inch and repeat the process.  I stamped four of the little penguins in this position of the square.  There is one on the inside of the card.

I found a small piece of shiny paper that coordinated with the color used on my inchies.  I cut a mat and die cut three snowflakes.  I stamped the sentiment on the card front and then added clear glitter embossing gel through a stencil to represent falling snow.  I glued each inchie to a snowflake so it looks like they are hanging from the snowflake.  They are randomly places on the card front around the sentiment.  I used Gina K Connect Glue to adhere them since adhering things to glitter gel can be iffy.

I really like how this card turned out.  Thank you for the challenge.

Love these little penguins, Barb, and how you've place them on the die cut snowflakes! The embossing paste snowstorm is a perfect base for them! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
