This post is sharing the card I made for the Clean and Simple challenge. Very simple stamping - I guess you let the patterned paper do the talking for you. My scallops are different than the sketch but I do love the small scallop on this diecut.
Enjoy the remainder of your evening.

One of the challenges over the week end at Operation Write Home is sponsored by Eclectic Paperie. All of their designers demonstrated how to mass produce a set of cards on a bloghop. My group fell right into this challenge – the challenge is not to make a set of cards but to make a card for OWH.
Here is the finished card – I made 12 cards like this.
Step one: Make your cardbase and stamp your pine bough on the bottom of your card front.
Step three: Cut strips of paper and adhere to the top of the card.
Step four: Add rub ons – I ran out of red rub ons so had to stamp one card with a sentiment. You ask – why not just stamp your sentiment – well I wanted my cards to turn out – and sometimes when I stamp – oops – ruined card.
OK – one piece of advice when you are doing mass production – make sure your cards are all facing in the same direction – or you end up with an OOPS card but this one wasn’t ruined. Actually maybe I like this card better - which one is your favorite

Three months from today - Christimas 2010 will be over with. I wonder did I get my holiday cards made, did I get my house cleaned and did the weather cooperate so we (my family) could all have Christmas together. Only time will tell. I am not looking forward to snow and cold, especially the snow.

I wanted to share some fun cheery cards I made for Operation Write Home. Unfortuantely I do not kow the stamp company for the image - these were a couple of images I had colored and decided to get made into cards. I am sure some child will love getting one of these cards from a parent. I love the bright colors from Cosmo Cricket.

Good Monday morning – and yes it is Oldie Moldie Monday and I am posting a challenge for Operation Write Home who is celebrating their birthday this entire month – all kinds of challenges are listed on their card blog – Stars and Stamps. Go check it out and join in all the fun and make some cards for a Hero to send home to family and friends.
My challenge is for you to dig into your supplies and use some of that stash and make some holiday cards. For each card you make – your name will go into a drawing. If you make a penguin card – your name will go into the drawing twice and if your card is shades of purple, has a penguin, and from your stash – your name goes into the drawing 3 times. The deadline is out a ways so you even have time to go buy a penguin stamp.
And they all ask – so what do we get if our name is drawn. I am going to have several prizes. The grand prize is a sentiment stamp set – great for making cards for OWH and then I am going to make 5 “winter” bags – winter accessories and stamped images. Just post a link to your card in the comments area of my blog – if you don’t have a blog – send me an e mail with your card and I can post it for you.
The “oldie moldie paper” I used is Bo Bunny from many years ago. I love purple for winter cards. I have more penguins – I really should go make some more cards since the paper is out. The snowflakes are foam – you can get these packages at Michael’s – and if not making cards for Operation Write Home – they are great fun to dress up with Stickles.
I am looking forward to seeing all your creations from your stash and maybe a little purple and penguins will sneak into your cardmaking also. I will keep the challenge open until the last day of September. Have fun. OH - Penguin update - I made two more cards last night.

Good Saturday morning. Wanted to share a quick card with you. I made this last week for the challenges on the Hero Arts Flicker group for Operation Write Home. The challenge was to make a card just using words. I remembered I had this great stamp from Hero Arts - what a simple card to make. I just used some scraps I had to create this card. I need to make more of these - they come together so fast.
I had the card sitting on my desk and I was eating a popscicle (red, white, and blue - my favorite - have to have one every day) and I ended up with a blue drip on the card. Well I took one of the stickers from SRM - cut out the flower and placed it over the blue spot - whew - card saved - and it actually looks quite cute. Don't you hate it when you do something stupid like that.
Have a wonderful creative day.

Today's challenge on Operation Write Home is to do a challenge we haven't done yet - but it must be a card we made today. Luckily I played before I went to work this morning so just had to adhere the layers together tonight. So I can play along.
This card is based on the Sunday sketch at the Operation Write Home Stars and Stamps card blog. A fun sketch. Time to kick it in gear for the holiday cards. I love this little weiner dog carrying his gifts. Pretty easy to color also - have a couple more colored - so you will have to come back and see what I do with them.
On a side note - I did have a card published in the Just Cards Holiday issue that just came out - it was a card using this particular stamp and these papers.
Everyone enjoy your evening.
Card details:
Size: 4.25 x 5.5
Paper: Basic Grey pad found at Michael's
Stamp: I will have to come back and update this - stamp hiding from me - I hate that when it happens - and they do it all the time here at my house.

The card I have to share today is from the midweek throwdown on the Operation Write Home card blog - Stars and Stamps. The challenge was to make a fall based thank you card. I had this great paper from Imaginisce which makes creation of a card so easy.
Well I must go get ready for work. Everyone have a great day - hope some creativity comes your way - come back tomorrow to see my google eye card. I really like how it turned out.

I stopped in the scrapbook store today after a doctor appointment - they are starting to get their new Christmas and fall papers in. I love the colors of the fall papers. They had lots of new Prima paper in also - I did resist all the 6 x 6 pads. I was proud of myself.
The card I am sharing tonight uses a digital image designed by Sandy Allnock, founder of Operation Write Home. This is her dog Ciara. I printed the image too large to be able to use the sentiments created by Sandy also. Operation Write Home is celebrating their one year anniversary - stop over and check them out - make some cards - my goal is 30 for the month of September. I think I will make it. I am doing some multiples of cards. Usually most of my cards are one of a kind.
Everyone have a wonderful evening. I should do some housework also - YUCK.

My card today is a quick and easy Halloween card. This is the midweek throwdown challenge at Operation Write Home Stars and Stamps. All the work is done by the stamping. Add another swirl stamp on the top in orange and color your spiders. I did add some Stickles to the spiders for color. These cards are for Operation Write Home but I am afraid the glitter may come off - so going to find this product that shall remain nameless (I can see it in my brain but it is not popping into the brain that can put it on paper). The stamp belongs to a friend so I am not totally sure what the company is - but I think it may be Memory Box. The paper is some old orange I had - I believe it is from Bo Bunny.
Come join Operation Write Home celebrate their birthday - a month long celebration. There are some great digis available and I will be hosting a challenge in September also - I believe it is Monday, September 20. Have a nice stamp set to give away that day.
Well I am off to take my shower and get my day started. Everyone have a wonderful Friday.
