Inlaid Die Cutting

I bought myself a new large die cut from Hero Arts and I have been playing with it and findout out different ways to use it.

I decided to cut circles out of the cut die.

I have used two different shades of teal card stock on this card.  The white circle is inlaid in the card front and is backed with a lighter shade of teal than the card base.  I had some pearls that somewhat matched the colors of card stock.  The sentiment is from Penny Black embossed with a Hero Arts embossing powder.

I am entering this card into several challenges.

Happy Little Stampers - May CAS Challenge - Inlaid Die Cut

Addicted to Stamps - Clean and Simple

Come back tomorrow to see how I used the die on another card.

I struggle on CAS cards and I cannot promise that I will not go splatter white paint on this card.

Love that die cut and the idea of using a different co-ordinating shade for the background.
Perfect for our challenges over at HLS and ATSM.
