Oldie Moldie Monday

It is Monday, time to who some love for your old supplies.

Today we are featuring a background that was in my background box.  When I am playing with alcohol inks, oxide inks, stencils, etc. making backgrounds I make lots and then they go into a box.  I finally got smart and put them in the same place and it is so nice to look through the box and grab a background and make a fun card.

The background for this birthday card was made with alcohol inks.  Two die cuts from My Favorite Things was used for the focal point on the card.  The bottom layer is white glitter card stock and the top is the same paper as the navy blue mat.  The sentiment was heat embossed on a strip of the navy blue card stock.

If you want to see a masculine card made with the bottom die cut, just go back to August 2 and take a look.

Remember to use your old supplies.  They still make beautiful cards.

Thanks for stopping by.
