June Stencil Challenge at Happy Little Stampers

It is time for a new stencil challenge at Happy Little Stampers.  This is a fun challenge to do because it is anything goes.  Stencils are a wise investment in our card making supplies because their cost can be less than a stamp set.

This month I decided to make a graduation card with the lavender I stenciled.

I only used part of the stenciled image for the card and used the remaining piece in a bookmark.

I love using stencils and seeing how many different ways I can use a stencil.  Please join us at Happy Little Stampers for our Stencil challenge.

Oldie Moldie Monday

It is Monday - time to show some love for your old supplies.  I found this image in my watercolor supplies so I colored it and made a card.

I now have another card for 2023.

Remember to show some love for your old supplies. They still make great cards.

June Christmas Challenge at Happy Little Stampers

It is time for a new Christmas Challenge at Happy Little Stampers.  It is a fun challenge because it is always Anything Goes but there is a optional choice.  This month the option is Make a Scene.

Unfortunately I do not know who is the company for this stamp.  I found 6 images silver embossed in my supplies and I decided to color them up.  I used different shades of blue for the trees.  This is a very non traditional Christmas card.  I added a simple greeting so to not distract from the beautiful trees.  I added some splatter to finish the card.  This is a mini slimline card.

Remember to make a few Christmas cards each month so you are not overwhelmed in December.

June Birthday Challenge at Happy Little Stampers

Hard to believe it is already June and it is time for some new challenges at Happy Little Stampers.  The birthday challenge is always fun because it is Anything Goes and we know we all have birthday cards to make.

I don't need this birthday card until January 2024 so hopefully I do not misplace it before then.  It will be my daughter's 50th birthday.  How did she get that old.

On this card I used the negative image of a stencil.  I had used a lavender stencil and made a couple things (hint stop by the stencil challenge this month to see that card).  After I was done stenciling the lavender, I sprayed it with water and flipped it onto some white cardstock and got the lovely background for this card.

I had lavender die cuts which I colored with watercolor also and laid them on the card front.  I added the sentiment.  It was suppose to have ribbon on it but I forgot.  Oh well - it looks fine without the ribbon.  She is growing lavender so that is why I made a card with this theme.

Here is a close up of the design.

Oldie Moldie Monday

It is Monday - time to show some love for your old supplies.

I found this stamped image in some of my card making images.  It needed to be made into a card.

Sympathy cards are so hard to make sometimes that I find it a good idea to keep some on hand.

Thanks for stopping by and remember to show some love for your old supplies.

Oldie Moldie Monday

It is Monday, time to show some love for your old supplies.

I am making some collages to be sent into an organization that is collection for their patients.

As I was cleaning (I have found marvelous things as I cleaned) I found a card I had made.  It had been damaged but the focal point of the card was still in good shape.  I trimmed it out and made it into a collage.  I hope it brings a sparkly smile to someone's face.

The collages are four inch squares.

Here is a close up of the flower made from book pages.  It looks like it was sprayed with a glittery spray.  More gel glitter was added around the edges of the flower and the center.  I fussy cut the butterfly out and added to the flower.

Remember to show some love to your old supplies or old creations.
