It is time for a new watercolor challenge at Happy Little Stampers for the month of March. The challenge is always anything goes but has an optional twist and this month the optional twist is mists.
To bring mists into my watercolor card, The background paper which I scored at half inch intervals has been sprayed with a silver metallic clearish spray. It adds a beautiful sheen to the background paper which also has pink watercolor splattered on it.
The images were stamped on Bristol smooth card stock with black Versafine Ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The images were then colored with a combination of Marvy and Zig watercolor markers. They were then die cut with a circle die. They were added to the card front with foam tape to add dimension. The sentiment strip was colored with watercolor and stamped the same as the image. It fit perfectly in one of the scored rows (whew).
Sequins were scattered around the images. Clear glitter was added to the center of the sequins and also the center of all the flowers.
Here is a close up of one of the circles. You can also see the scored lines in this picture along with a few of the sequins.
Please come play with ua at Happy Little Stampers for our March watercolor challenge.
