What's On Your Design Table - Day 3

I know it is Thursday but Blogger has not let me upload anything the last few days so this is Tuesday and Wednesday cards or maybe Monday - I don't remember.

The images were all on my table all colored.  The pretty plaid paper was there also.  It was double sided so that helps in creating a card.  The die cut sentiments were also on the design table. I like how the cards turned out.  Thankfully I also had an embossing folder on the table.  You may get tired of seeing this embossing folder after awhile.

These cards will go in my next Operation Write Home Box.

What did you find on your design table - Day 2? Oldie Moldie Monday

This week - I started creating using what is on my design tables - since I have four tables - there is lots to choose from.  As I was picking up the tables, I found this Easter image - Riley the Moose.  He was already colored (there were 2 of them).  I also found the sheet of double sided paper.  Bright pink on one side and the plaid on the other side.  Great for spring/Easter cards.  I also found the mat for the image on the tables.

These all qualify for oldie moldie.  The Easter images were colored a year ago.

The card will go in my next Operation Write Home box.

Come back all week to see what else I have found on my table.

Riley the Moose Celebrates Easter

One Easter card made - it has to go to Alaska so it must head out the door tomorrow - and hopefully make it before Easter.  My daughter see moose on a regular basis so I send Riley cards to her and her hubbie quite often.

I bought this new collection of papers for Easter - I believe they are by Doodlebug.  Don't you love the colors but how about that patterned paper with those colorful jelly beans.

I am entering the card in the weekly challenge on the Riley and Company which is to use twine on your card.

I am also entering it in the challenge on Simon Says Stamp to do Easter or Spring.  I was the lucky winner last week for the $50 gift certificate from Simon Says - I have already started making my list - I am up to $100 already - oops.

I used a sticker from SRM Stickers to add the finishing touch to the card.

Riley the Moose Heads to Alaska

Riley the Moose goes to Alaska.  My youngest has now lived in Alaska one year.  They love it there so that is important.  I will make the journey to visit in August.  Hopefully I will see a moose - most likely he will not be holding a rose for me when I arrive.

Some SRM Stickers added some special touches and the sentiment to the card.

I am entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Have a Heart.

Also in the Just Add Ink Challenge - Just Add a Heart.

Riley the Moose Mustache you a Question

I thought Riley the Moose needed to come out again this week.  The card is a little similar to the card I posted on Sunday.  This card is based on the sketch at The Sweet Stop.  Echo Park makes the cute mustache paper.

Gee I am not very talkative - forgive me.  One of those weeks.

SRM Sticker SKIP

I think you all will enjoy this little SKIP today.  It will be fun to see what all of the different card makers do with the same SRM Stickers.

I must confess this is my third card.  First one never made it  past paper on the cutting board - second one was finished but it wasn't quite right - and then I came up with this card.  I decided to use the tree sticker to decorate the hot air balloon Riley the Moose is flying in  - wouldn't that be fun to see floating over your home.  I kept the design very simple - this would be clean and simple for me - The paper is from My Mind's Eye.  I added my sentiment on a banner - the image and sentiment are pop dotted for some extra dimension.

Please leave some comments - each blog will be giving away a sheet of these stickers.

I now want you to SKIP over to Jan's Blog - I know I can't wait to see what she has created.

At the end make sure you stop by Stars and Stamps - and leave a comment and tell us what you would do with a sheet of these stickers.

Have fun skipping.

Riley the Moose Birthday Card

My mother's birthday is the middle of October so I thought this cute image from Riley the Moose would make her smile.  I send cards to her every day of her birthday week.  I think I have 3 or 4 made already.

It really did help that the Riley and Company blog has a birthday challenge and I will enter my card in it.

Everyone enjoy your evening.

Riley the Moose Goes to School

The challenge on the Riley and Company Blog is to make something with Riley for back to school - so I don't know who is saying "hooray" - is it the kids going back or is it the parents - we know it is probably not the teachers.  I love that smiley balloon.  I am going to use this stamp for some Operation Write Home cards - Riley will bring smiles to everyone who sees the card.

I used paper from the 6 x 6 pad from Little Yellow Bicycle named Escape.  The addition of an SRM Sticker and some baker twine finishes off the card.  The image and sentiment are pop dotted.

Have a wonderful Friday.

Riley the Moose Goes On Vacation

I want to send a card off to my daughter and son in law who now call Alaska their home.  I really moose them.

The Riley and Company blog is having a challenge - Riley goes on vacation.  Riley is visiting the big city - looks like he wants to go everywhere - but he too is mooseing someone.

The paper is from a new 6 x 6 pad from Little Yellow Bicycle Company - called Escape.  The cityscape and the sentiment on top were part of the paper pad.  The sentiment is computer generated and cut apart to look like little letter stickers.  Riley is added to the card with dimensional tape to add a little depth to the card.

Enjoy the remainder of your day.

Riley and Company

This is my first Riley and Company card.  Discovered these stamps at a store in Wisconsin - so then we investigated and found all these cute stamps.  Mary and I placed an order which just came yesterday.  This stamp was bought at Polka Dots - the Wisconsin scrapbook store.  I love that you can get them just on cushion mount.

My daughter has moved to Alaska so these will be perfect stamps for her.  She talks about seeing moose all the time.  I think this card will be mailed to her in January.

The stamps will also make great Operation Write Home cards.  Every card made with Riley will bring lots of smiles.

I also discovered there is a blog for Riley and Company and they have challenges.  This is my first challenge - it is for Christmas in July.

I also used the sketch challenge from Unscripted Sketches.  I am not even going to attempt to load the sketch - I have been having blogger issues with uploading pictures.

The paper is from Collage Press.  I love the bright cheerful colors of this collection.  The sentiment was computer generated.  I am lucky to have snow blowing fairies in my neighborhood that take care of my driveway and long sidewalk.

Enjoy the remainder of your Sunday.  My Oldie Moldie Monday card is done and now I need to make my Welcome to the Jungle card for our new employee in the office.
