Happy Little Stampers July Christmas Challenge

It is time for the new July Christmas challenge at Happy Little Stampers

As always the challenge is Anything Goes with the optional twist of sparkle.  Everyone loves a little sparkle on their Christmas cards.

This card is an idea I saw on Pinterest.  (I recently had cataract surgery so creativity was not coming to me so away I went to Pinterest to find some ideas to help me along.)

The purple color is a packet of paper given to me by a friend.  It as a beautiful sheen to it.  I added a layer of the purple to a white card base.  I cut a piece of white Bristol smooth card stock for the white portion of the card.  I wanted the white to have some stability wince I was doing die cutting through it.  After I had cut the snowflakes in the front I added sparkle by spraying it with a sheer silver spray.  It is lovely.

The sentiment was die cut three times and layered together and glued to the front of the card.
Some silver embellishments were added to the front of the card.

This would be an easy card to duplicate.  It took me longer to find my snowflake dies then it did to make the card.

Please come join us at Happy Little Stamper for our July Christmas Challenge.  You know you will be happy you did when December comes around and you get ready to mail your cards out.

What a pretty design, Barb and I wish I could see the lovely sparkle up close. Those snowflake dies are gorgeous and I love the purple colour. I'm glad your surgery went well.
Have a great weekend.

All that sparkle showing through the snowflakes is lovely, Barb, and I love that die cut sentiment.

I love color, great contrast! Your snowflake looks stunning on this lilac background. The frame in the same color emphasizes the contrast and beautifully closes the card. Beautiful card, Barb.
