It is time for a new Christmas challenge at Happy Little Stampers. The challenge is always anything goes but there is the option of Non Traditional.
Here is my card - I chose very non traditional colors.
Once again I am using distress oxide inks for my colors. I have a stamp and die Christmas tree set. I stamped the trees but did not like them so chose to go with just a brightly colored die cut tree. I die cut a circle which was colored using the smooshing technique. The pink tree was glued to the circle and the other two trees were offset with foam tape. Glitter stars were added to the top of each tree.
To make my silver base, I cut a rectangle the same size as my card base. I took silver glitter washi tape and put it around the outside edges of the rectangle. This is so much cheaper to do than use silver glitter paper.
The sentiment was heat embossed in silver. A purple ribbon was tied between the trees and sentiment.
Here is a close up of the circle and trees.

I know exactly who will receive this card.
Please play along with our June Christmas challenge at Happy Little Stampers.

What a great approach to the topic of the challenge. The color of your card is more like Easter, but it looks so beautiful on the Christmas card.

I love your design and the wonderful non-traditional colors in your card, Barb. Love that purple ribbon!
They may be non-traditional colors, Barb, but I sure do like them together.
