Autumn Colors

I love to make fall cards.  I have a thing for leaves and once fall rolls around I want to make lots of cards.  Friends and family can count on receiving a fall card.

This card is from a challenge in a group I am in.  One of my fellow cardmakers had leftover paper so sent it to a few of us to make cards.  The paper she sent was the green, brown and orange card stock and she wrote us a little note on the leaf.

I turned the leaf over because I wanted to use it in my design.  I took out a stencil and using distress oxide inks added the dots on the leaf.  I then inked the edge of the leaf with a brown ink.  I found a piece of patterned paper that had the same colors as my card stock.  I die cut the hugs from the orange card stock.

It has been great fun seeing how everyone used these papers.

I am entering this card in the current challenge at Try it on Tuesday where the challenge is autumn colors.

Thanks for stopping by.

Missing In Action

I am still around.  I upgraded my computer to the latest Windows version so still trying to figure out everything.  Loading photos and editing them is one thing I have not been brave enough to try.

Maybe this week I will get a chance to do it.  It has been a very frustrating experience.

Please send positive Geek thoughts my way.

Monday - Using the Leftovers

Normally Monday is Oldie Moldie Monday - but if I did not use the leftovers from this card I made - then they eventually would be leftovers.

I had the YAY's leftover so I made two cards for a foster care home.

Remember to show some love for your old supplies or your leftovers.
