Had fun creating this card for a very special person. I hope you enjoy it. The design is based on the sketch at 2 Sketches 4 You - Kazan's Sketch 12. I guess I also used the Cuddlebug to emboss some patterned paper so it would qualify for their challenge at the Cuddlebug Challenge site - every Wednesday.

Sunday - Time to Create
It seems like during the week I can not find the time or creativity to create anything - I am home this week end so actually got some house cleaning done, groceries bought for the next two weeks - so I can create - I made some thank you cards for a friend which I will share later in the week. This card is for my friend - just to let her know that I am thinking of her and her family in these hard times.
I wanted the card to be special to Anna - she loves fabric and is one of the most creative women I know - so I wanted this card to be special for her. Luckily the card also satisfied two challenges. The first challenge is for the sketch on Card Positioning - every Sunday they post a new sketch. The other challenge is the challenge on Caardvarks - Initial Reaction. Whew - that was hard work.

Cheesy Garlic Drop Biscuits

This is a perfect recipe to pull out if you are short on time because there is no rolling or cutting. The cheese and garlic add extra kick to a plain biscuit, and kids love them. They are the perfect accompaniment to serve with soups or stews, and are great served with a salad.
INGREDIENTS
2 c. flour
2 tbsp. granulated sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 1/4 c. milk
Chives (optional)
DIRECTIONS
Mix together dry ingredients. Cut in butter with pastry cutter until mixture is fine. Add cheese and mix well. Add milk and stir until just moistened. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Sprinkle top with chopped dried or fresh chives if desired. Bake at 400 degrees for approx. 15 minutes.
The Halloween Tag to accompany this great treat can seen at this link:

Hump Day Wednesday
This card is for the sketch over on 2 Sketches 4 You - took me awhile to get it together. I am going to use the card for my Mom's birthday - pink is her favorite color and she loves flowers.
The paper is Basic Grey. One of the Cuddlebug embossing edge folders. Sewed around the edge to anchor all the paper down. The QuicKutz scallop border - very versatile die cut to have in your bag of tricks. I added the ribbon and buttons to the card to help the card fit the first challenge on Cococat's Cardmaking - we are celebrating our one year anniversary - please stop by and visit.
