Simple Stories and Operation Write Home

My goodness - a different look on blogger today - I did not blog one day - oh boy - hopefully it all works so I can post.

I like to start my Sunday morning off with doing the Operation Write Home - Stars and Stamps sketch - gets the creative mojo flowing (mojo is a better work than juice).

The paper is from Simple Stories - the stamp is from Unity Stamps and I cut the scallops with my Silhouette.

Well I need to get groceries and mow my lawn today.  I do hope the lawn mower starts - first time each year it is a prayer.  Enjoy your day and I hope you get to be creative also.

  1. Pretty! Is the butterfly dimensional? It looks as if it is. I'm glad you used a paper background I just got some summer paper i was planning on using today.

Good luck with the mower! We switched to an old fashioned push one last yr after downsizing from a huge yard; yesterday was the first day this year and boy, did it squeak!

After the initial frustration, with the change coming right after the massive FB change, I like the new blogger, but still can't get it to publish a post scheduled ahead of time.

  8. And you thought the sketch was a "yikes"? (I saw your comment on the Stars and Stamps blog.) You've done a super job with it! :) The flowers and butterfly make a wonderful combination. I'm glad you decided to give the sketch a chance!
